The Need for a Pavilion
The 16’ x 28’ pavilion will expand park usage during hot or inclement weather, shielding dog owners from the elements and providing a comfortable area for socialization and community building. The “open timber truss” design expands on the historic theme of the park and the overall Main Street Campus.
The total estimated cost of the pavilion is $90,000.
Good news! State Representative Dan Sena presented Town of Acton on June 5, 2026 with a pledge of $50k using State earmark funds, so we are more than halfway towards achieving our goal.
We hope that you can help the Friends make the dream of a Pavilion at Acton Community Dog Park a reality.
All funds raised will be gifted to Town of Acton for the purchase and installation of the Pavilion.
